This website is operated by S P Groundwork's & Driveways NW Limited, trading as S P Groundworks & Driveways, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 15385253. Registered office: 26 Ennerdale Road, Middleton, Manchester, England, M24 5RN. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this site.
What we collect
When you use the quote form we ask for your name, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in and any detail you choose to add. We also record which page the form was sent from. If you ring, email or message us on WhatsApp or Facebook, we keep the details you give us in that conversation, including your address once we arrange a site visit.
The site itself does not set tracking cookies. Web3Forms, which delivers form submissions to our inbox, processes your entry to send the email and does not use it for anything else. If you choose to load the Google map or the Facebook feed on a page, those services set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
Why we use it and the legal basis
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out and invoice the work. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and performing that contract once agreed. Where we keep records after a job is finished - for guarantees, tax and insurance - the basis is our legitimate interests and our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or pass your details to anyone for marketing. We share them only where the job needs it - for example a skip company for delivery, or a material supplier for a direct delivery to your address - and with our accountant and insurers where required. Web3Forms and our email provider process data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed work are kept for six years after the job to cover guarantees, tax and insurance requirements, then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email scottparker121@btinternet.com or write to the registered office above and we will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
